Objectives and Approach
The fund aims to provide investors with long-term capital growth, principally through investment in the equity securities of companies throughout the world which are involved in the research, development, manufacture, distribution, supply, or sale of materials, equipment, products or services related to cyclical and natural resources industries. As this fund may invest globally, it may be exposed to countries considered to be emerging markets. The fund is actively managed. The Investment Manager will, when selecting investments for the fund and for the purposes of monitoring risk, reference MSCI AC World Industrials + Materials + Energy Index (the "Index") as the Index constituents are representative of the type of companies the fund invests in. The fund's performance can be assessed against its Index. The Investment Manager has a wide range of discretion relative to the Index. While the fund will hold assets that are components of the Index, it may also invest in companies, countries or sectors that are not included in, and that have different weightings from, the Index in order to take advantage of investment opportunities. It is expected that over long time periods, the fund's performance will differ from the Index. However, over short time periods, the fund's performance may be close to the Index, depending on market conditions.

Important Information
Headline performance can mask the true characteristics of a fund. Without fully understanding how a fund is managed, you may inadvertently become exposed to an undesirable level of risk to your capital. Some funds carry a dilution levy which reduces the number of units realised on any initial investment as an initial charge. If this fund carries such a levy it should be detailed in the Key Investor Information Document (KIID), which we must provide and you should read before investing.
The charts and performance data shown are supplied by an external data provider and may contain data that appears to precede the introduction of the clean unit class for this fund. In such cases, historical data has been synthesised at the entire discretion of that external provider as realistically as possible using historical data recorded against the previously available commission-paying version of the fund, adjusting for fees in the process.
