April 15 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is
seen opening up on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.24%.

* DE LA RUE: U.S.-based buyout firm Atlas Holdings is in
advanced talks to take over Banknote printer De La Rue DLAR.L
for about 130 pence per share, Sky News reported.
* ROLLS ROYCE: The Pentagon said Rolls-Royce Solutions
America RR.L will be the principal contractor for the
potential sale of Eitan PowerPack engines and related equipment
to Israel for an estimated cost of $180 million.
* STEEL: Britain said it could keep the country's last steel
blast furnaces burning for at least the next few weeks after
securing a delivery of fuel
* RETAIL: British shoppers spent more in March even in the
run-up tariff increases, according to data published by the
British Retail Consortium
* OIL: Oil prices inched higher, supported by new tariff
exemptions floated by President Donald Trump and a rebound in
China crude oil imports in anticipation of tighter Iranian
supply.
* METALS: London copper firmed , holding near the
more-than-one-week high, aided by recent U.S. tariff exemptions
and optimism China will launch additional stimulus.
* GOLD: Gold firmed amid continued uncertainty over U.S.
President Donald Trump's tariff plans.
* The UK blue-chip index .FTSE closed up 2% on Monday
after U.S. President Donald Trump exempted smartphones and
computers from steep Chinese tariffs.
